Chen Mei Shi Lor Mee, Tanglin Halt Market


Lor mee is a dish I only grew to enjoy in recent years and the store at Tanglin Halt Market seemed legitimately popular. For $3, there were generous chunks of once-crispy morsels of chunky chewy mystery meats slathered atop al dente yellow kee noodles. I liked how the gravy wasn't overly starchy and it came with two type of chills. The lack of raw minced garlic wasn't missed - and I am sure my colleagues didn't miss it either.
